Question Kesavardhini oil

I went and purchased some of this oil yesterday. Is it good for hair growth. I am trying to grow my hair longer. For best results, should I mix it with coconut oil or mustard oil.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Dear Cindyboo,

I have been using kesavardhini oil for more than 6 years. I usually mix it with coconut oil. I haven't tried mixing with any other oil.
My mom says her hair grew long because of using kesavardhini. I feel my hair is strong after using kesavardhini
Hope this helps.

Regards,
Padmausha

Thanks for your response Padmausha. I will mix it with the coconut oil. My bottle has an expiration date of August 2004. Is it still okay to use?

Thank you.

Hi Cindyboo,

I am not sure if it is ok to use after the expiration date. I have not used it after expiration date. Since this is not going to be taken internally, I think it is not harmful to use it. Perhaps try mixing a few drops of keshavardhini oil in coconut oil and start using it instead of the proportion mentioned in the bottle.

Initially I mixed less quantity of kesavardhini oil(few drops) in coconut oil to make sure that it suits my hair.

Regards,
Padmausha

Hi Deepusree,

I got mine from an Indian Market in Glendale. Here is their website. Their prices are very reasonable.

hi Cindy,

please don't use hair oil after expiry to apply on hair it causes skin allergy and rashes even though it is not internally consumed but it is used on scalp and absorbed to the hair roots which damages hair follicles.

bye
