    Hi,

Recently i had a short haircut. I have my hair layered till shoulders. By nature i have a straight hair. And i always like to leave my hair loose when i go out. But when i go out, within minutes the short hairs get seperated (esp in the wind) and they stand up away from the long hairs and gives a untidy look.
But when I see these filmstars, even if they leave their hair loose, it looks that all stick to each other, never seperate from one another, never get entangled and have a wonderful shine. Is it becos of any spary or mousse or using flat irons? How do they get that effect? Can anyone tell me the tips and tricks? Also suggest me the products which are not harmful.

Film artists uses a lot of stuff for the hair. They use flat iron, mousse, hair spray etc etc. They keep at it shot after shot which is why it looks like that. That is their secret. You see them off screen, they will be so ordinary only.
Use a good conditioner to maintain the hair.
Apply Olive oil and massage and stay for 2 hours, then wash off.If you deep condition your hair,it is all the more better.

    This is what i do when i go out;
    1. Wash with heat protective shampoo and conditioner
    2. Dry with Towel
    3. Apply a ping pong sized amount of volumizing hair mousse
    4. Spray some heat resistand hair spray
    5. Blow Dry hair
    6. Brush it out
    7. Apply Hair Spray to set style

note: I only do this when im going out, not everyday

Buy a conditioner [separate] like Revlon`s flex! Flex is very good for Indian hair and weather conditions.
    Even Dove also is good.
You will notice the difference, iam sure...............

    Dear Ashwini,

    - Use shampoo and conditoners made for dull hairs - such a pantene
    - Tresseme has a good heat protectant
    - Make sure the hair spray adds shine as well, l'oreal's elnett is quite good

    Hope this helps :)
