Here is a small tip that is quite unconventional for preventing/reducing hair fall.

I have terrible hair loss too and my reasons are just too many. Let me cut short and come to the point. My mother who is visiting me currently asked me to try one of the tips that Baba Ramdev suggested on Aastha TV channel. It is a accupressure massage of your fingertips and can be done anytime. I tried this and can see the results by the number of hairs on my bathroom floor. I suggest you ladies give it a try too, it doesnt involve anything but conscious effort to do the task.

I don't know how well I can describe, let me know if you don't understand.

Here is how it is done. Whenever you are free, watching TV or reading something on your computer or anytime your hands are free, keep rubbing the nails of your left hand (forget the thumb) with the nails of your right hand. Alternate, ie rub the nails of the right with the left. I found the sound kind of irritating at first but got used to it. Do it for 5-10 minutes daily.

Work in small circular motions , first clockwise and then anti clockwise . When you use your fingertips the skin should move and not your fingers. Or first , you just give small strokes to the scalp. You'll feel it gets softer. If you do it regularly you'll know what I am talking about.
If you do like that , the blood circulation improves and the hair fall stops. A little bit of hair (50 to 100 hairs) falling is natural. One particular season also the hair fall will be more. For each person it is different. For me it is july to sep, every year I have seen hair fall. That's normal. If it falls and doesn't grow back, only then you have to worry. As long as your hair grows back do not worry.

Smile a small tip to control hair fall

Hi Ladies
i just saw this thread , immeadialtely i am posting reply.
i believe this tip will help u lot

to control hair loss u can use Home made fresh coconut milk
Apply it nicely on scalp.. if possible to hair also...keep it like that till it gets dry . 3 to 4 hrs is enough.
if u can keep it like that overnight, that will be good.( u can cover it nicely with shower cap after 1 or 2 hrs)
After that wash it with warm water..don't use shampoo immedialtely..
next day u can have head bath with good shampoo
weekly once is compulsory
Also have healthy diet, & don't take tensions.

for coconut milk
grind 2 cups of scraped coconut in blender..finely to get milk..
put that in one good cloth ..sqeeze it to get coconut milk

it..really works nice
my mother used to do this for me & my sister..
but that time i hated this..all process..bcz after taking bath with warm water that whole day hair smells like coconut & face looks oily

But my sister did this..now she is having long & healthy hair.

thanku
bye

Default Re: how to prevent hair fall???

Hi everyone
I'm also experiencing hair loss. I have heard a lot about Shahnaz Hair Loss Products and am wondering if anyone out there has tried any of her products.
Please let me know if it works. By the way, I have a very itchy scalp and am going
to try applying shikakai powder to my scalp to see if it helps. Don't know if my hair fall is due to an itchy scalp.
Regards
Jas

Dear Jas,

The scalp itchiness is due to lack of oil and moisture in it. Do you drink enough water ? You have to, atleast 8-10 glasses of water or water+fluids put together.
If you don't like to drink that much water , drink diluted fresh juices just to change its taste.
Oil massage should also be done as I have explained before in this same thread.
Try them out and see , if your itching gets less. Once your itching stops your hair loss will also stop.
Try out for a week daily massage with a few drops of oil and see. My Husband also had the same itching problem. I found that this method worked for him.

Dear Latha,
Thank you for replying. I shall try drinking more water and applying oil to my scalp. But should I go ahead with the shikakai powder application too in the meantime. I have for the past 6 months switched to applying henna to cover my greys. Here in Malaysia we get the mixed henna from South India. Its really cheap. Am confused if that is the cause of my itch. Am going to apply the natural henna with tea leaves and yoghurt and egg mixed in it. What do you think?
Regards
Jas

Dear Jas,

I have been applying blackhenna for covering my greys which I have been doing for the past 15 years. Whatever I do I never stop oiling my hair.
Can you get the black henna there?? You can use that also instead of using mixup henna. You won't get the black colour if you apply that. That'll be dark brownish if it comes out right.
