Good Herbal shampoos and Oil for Dandruff

Hi Friends,

can anyone suggest a good herbal oil and shampoo for a hair with lot of dandruff.

Even home remedies will do.

i too need advice in dandruff treatment.

i heard that 'selsun' shampoo is good. anyone know abt it? is it really good & is it really works for dandruff? any other suggesstions r welcome.

Selsun is good but many have complained about hair loss. So we cant use it often. Once in a while u can shampoo with Selsun not frequently.

I too had the same problem so i tried Head and shoulders. It really works well. Get the dark navy blue bottle (Fully in blue) and not the regular White and blue. The dark blue is for tough dandruff. After 6or 7 washes you will really feel the change. Use it twice in a week. Wet your scalp apply the shampoo. Leave for it 2 mins and then rub your scalp well and rinse.

After 6 or 7 washes stat using the regular White and blue bottle of Head and Shoulders regularly.

Regarding oil i use Clinic All Clear Anti Dandruff Oil.

Hi babita,

I think Nyle herbal oil is really good.

Coming to Dandruff.. a tea tree shampoo works best to combat it.

I'm using Tea Tree Dandruff Sahmpoo by Thursday Plantation at a dermatologist's advice.
Though pricey (Dhs 50)..but really effective.

I use HIMALAYA Anti-dandruff shampoo for dry/damaged hair ,it also has Tea -tree oil.
It suits me ,using from past 4/5 yrs -its good.

Dear Friends

I am using NYLE shampoo from the beginning, ( occassionally i use some other shampoo's also, for very short time).but i have very severe hair fall......pls suggest me some shampoo to control hair fall...

Hello Lata Akka(I hope i can call you akka,reading a lot about you nowdays and also spoke to bala once.....)

As daffodil and Aaisha are suggesting.tea tree shampoo would be best to give a try.
