I'm starting to oil my hair, leave it overnight, and wash it next morning. Once I used too much coconut oil and after wash I had some oily residue. Then I used too little and after wash, it was as if I didn't apply oil at all.

Now, I am thinking of using Amla oil because I heard it makes hair shiny, strong, beautiful. But on label, the first ingredient is Mineral Oil.

So is Amla Oil really Mineral Oil, plus a mixture of others? Will it still be helpful?

Don't know what Amla Oil is but after this post I am going to Google it. I cheat, I use Pro-naturals Moroccan Argan Oil. It is a leave in conditioner which you add to your hair after washing and before drying it. I also use a Karmin Salon Series Ultralight Pro Ionic hair dryer. If you look at their website you can learn how it all works but I know that my hair shines and is lovely and soft but manageable.

I've been heating about a teaspoon of coconut oil, dividing my hair, working from the roots to the tips and leaving it overnight and now my hair feels so soft and manageable. And I can swear it's starting to grow (plus I do dry massage of scalp once or twice a day)
