I heard that if you trim hair it helps growth.

I just got my hair trimmed 4 months after I got haircut. Even though lady trimmed it an inch, is barely touches the middle of my back.

How often do I trim my hair, and how many inches so that it grows long and beautiful?

Check for split ends before trimming the hair, if you have a lot of split ends, then you will have to trim your hair more often.

Same here. As long as I trim it, I lose the length only. But it doesn't grow beyond my middle back level. I am also interested to know any helpful tips

Hair looks thicker if trimmed regularly. Ask your hairstyling to trim only 1 cm.

:) hair myth. Trimming hair does not result in hair growth since hair is dead fiber and only the root is alive. Trim hair every three months if you have lots of split ends. Otherwise just leave it alone and maintain hair tips by
using leave in conditioner or oil to tips.
protect and tuck in hair tips when tying up hair.
You can trim hair at home by dividing hair, twisting the ends and trimming the ends with scissors. There are lots of tutorials online how to trim ends.
Please do not cut off precious length by trimming without reason. Check for split ends, protect hair, n if needed, trim at home.

Trimming does not have anything to do on hair growth's speed.

The hair on your head grows about six inches per year on average, or about half an inch per month. Often, the growth cycle of the follicle starts over and a new hair begins to grow in after one is shed. It's advised that you consult a dermatologist about hair growth.

Depending on your age, hair may grow faster or slower. Genetics and your hormonal state (for example, pregnancy seems to have an affect on hair) also affect growth.

I saw a youtube vid by someone who used castor oil regularly on her hair and helped her her grows a little bit faster.
