Default I want to curl my hair...!!!!!

Hi friends,...

U may get amused by my stt.- when everybody wants to straighten the hair... what to do...? I've lost 75% of my hair volume and it's become very thin... I can't ever have a loose hair-style... nowadays I find difficult to have plts/tied too...
So I think of having curls in the bottom of my hair so that I can make it looking little bit volumised... I saw some devices to curl the hair, here, in London...(like straighteners...) which can also be used to free the curls when u want to... Is it safe/ advisible to use...?
Or can I go to a salon, to have a cut that make look of some good volume ...? (like one of our friends told in our forums - a layered haircut would help...?)

If anybody is having similar experience, please advise... and share your ideas.... help me friends....

Regards,
Thejaswi.

Thejaswi,

Why dont you roller set it at the tips . It looks nice ,is safe for the hair and can be done easily at home.
Layer cut looks good if you have some volume. If your hair is scanty then I dont think you can get layers.
Chemically treating your hair as in perming would add tho hair loss due to the harsh chemicals.
For occasions you could try non chemical styles of crimping . The look great and add volume. For occasions you could try it.This is the procedure . After washing your hair.let it semidry then plait small plaits and secure them with plastic coated rubberbands at the tip. Make atleast 20 to 30 thin plaits. Wait for six to seven hours and then carefully remove the plaits so as to not damage your hair. You will be surprised at the ravising new look.

Good luck,
Devika

Hi Devika,..

Thanks for ur valuable input... I too have heard of this roller setting,... but haven't tried so far... Do u have any idea of how long it will last...? Should we set the hair often... / weekly once...? But I agree with u that it's safe and non-chemical process without causing any damage to the hair...
Let me try it...

Thank u....
Thejaswi.

Dear Priya and Thejaswi,

If you are in a hurry then you need hot rollers , otherwise just roll them on when your hair is semi dry. Remove them when completely dry but then do not comb your hair . merely rub your fingers very delicately ot use a wide toothed comb and pronto you will have beautiful curls.
Thejaswi it stays till the next wash and then again a lot depends on your hair type.

Happy and safe experimenting!:)

Love,
Devika

Dear Devika,...

Thank u for ur suggestions,...
If we take head bath daily,...(like u malayalee people do...), we have to set them daily, I think.... Am I correct...?
Ok,... Let me buy the rollers first and try them... Then I'll be coming back with the feedback...
Thankx,
Thejaswi.
