a simple way for having long and black hair. take some curry leaves and grind it in a mixie. do not add water. add this paste to coconut oil and make it hot. when the bubbles in the oil settle down off the stove. sieve and store in an air tight bottle. use this for massaging and oiling your hair. avoid using shampoos frequently, once in a week would be better.

hi friends... i have oily hair... till my knee curve... thick, shiney... all i follow is... 1. i trim once in two months... as hair has the capacity to grow jus half - one inch more ... after ur cut... so it dependes ... may be once in 3 mnths... but 'll follow tht... 2. never used sampoo as it may gve good result initialy .. but gives many hidden damage...it causes split ends, scalp itching, root damage due to hey chemicals... 3. jus 1 hr b4 my head bath i use to apply (castoroil+coconut oil+little olive oil) tis helps in removing the dust, dirt, from hair... as well as heat from the body... 4. jus 5 mins b4 bath.. i put 1 white of egg... 5. i use shikai powder ... if possible i mix(shikaipowder+hibuscus, neem, tulsi, little rice, fengu seedsetc)neem to avoid cold due to hibiscus... green gram is fully cold... so i try 2 avoid it 6. mostly i prefer redimade shikai packet (mixture of all herbs)thn i add these leaves... due to egg, hibuscus, soapkai... no need for any seperate conditioner... try it yaar... its fully natural . many of my friends got lots of benefit... cheers... ashu

to avoid hair fall, avoid using shampoos quite often.use homemade shampoo. soak 3 tablespoon of methi seeds in water and grind it the next day.wet your hair and apply the paste and then rinse with lots and lots of water. can add orange peel while grinding methi, it gives nice smell to the hair. trim your hair once in 3 months.use shampoo only if u forget soaking methi seeds. ![]()

Hi All, I too use shikakai, we put methi, Lime peel, curry leaves, hand full of dry Neem leaves to it for grinding.. And also we make another powder out of equal amount of Nellikkai Vaththal & Greengram. Mix both the powders in 1:1 ratio, it gives great results. Thanks, Sasirekha
