    Hi IL's,

My hair is with medium length and medium thickness.

I love to have smooth n silky hair, but its dry and gets more DRIER when i do head baths. It gets more curlier just in the front as an add on to my dry hair. That makes me odd.
Now I cannot stop thinking of opting the option "permanent straightening".

Please Indus ladies help me in taking the decision and please answer my queries below.
If I go with permanent straightening

1.Should i take head bath daily?
2.Can I apply coconut oil weekly thrice?
3.Will it take lots of time to maintain the hair style?

please also share your experiences and ideas.

    Thanks In advance,
    KM :thumbsup

    Hi,

I have thick curly hair. Permanent straightening was such a boon. After I got it done, I used to wake up looking glamorous! However, the ones I got done in India were the best. I got it straightened by a technique called rebonding. In the uk too I tried getting my hair rebonded. It quite wasn't permanent nor were the results great - it was curly after a single wash though not as curly as before. I suspect they didn't quite leave the products long enough. Make sure that you speak to someone who has gotten it done in the same place as you are planning to go to. That should give you a view of how good the hairdressers are.

To answer your questions: No need to wash hair often. I didn't apply any oil. I did do an oil massage maybe
once a month or so. It took virtually no time to maintain it. The effect was great for nearly 6 months - even afterwards it was the hair that grew out that was curly. The straightened hair just remained straight.

    Enjoy!
