hi Ramya,

thanks for the tips. though I follow most of them,I always had this doubt about wether leaving hair open or tying it up at night before sleeping is more advisable. As you have have advised about tying it up,just out curiousity i would like to know why.Does leaving hair open damage ie in any way?

hi shashi and janaki,
thanks for the replies. shashi,as far as know, henna will make the hair dry..but i have not tried it by mixing it with egg white..if that suits u, u can continue..and janaki, honestly i don't know why we tie our hair..but as far as i know ,tying the hair is better and the hair loss will be less if we keep our hair neat and tied up..
thanks

hi,
even when mixed with egg white and yellow i found henna to leave the hair dry.. I heard this tip before and tried once.. but again my hair was very dry.. so dint do it again..
as far as leaving hair free in the night the only damage is due to the tangles.. you will face hair loss when you try to detangle your hair the next morning i guess..

Hi Rya,

Very useful tips to have long hair.
I have a long hair, I use henna with curd and egg white after a oil massage and use a mild shampoo diluted or the soap seeds which helps to reduce heat too.
When without an oil massage I use fenugreek seds soaked in curd and grind to paste and apply on scalp for 30 mins and wash, gives good results
hope this is useful

1. brush your hair every day frequently with a good brush(even if the brush is little expensive, buy it)
2.before bed time, just massage your hair and head with fingers in a circular manner(no oil) everyday deeply to increase blood circulation.
3.massage the same way as above with oil whenever is needed and do not let your hair loose when you sleep.always put a plat or atleast tie your hair.
4.before shampooing,brush your hair neatly
5.while shampooing dilute your shampoo(good quality shampoos and mild shampoos),with water in your hand and massage on wet hair. while taking head bath, make sure that the shampoo you are using is very less.
6.the hair should be properly washed.
7.do not use hair dryers as they may heat up your head,so just dry your hair in natural air or fan.
8.after your hair is completely dry(no wetness),brush and tie your hair neatly, and, before bed time, just massage two drops of oil(not much) in your head.
Follow the steps above and if you use shikakai, well and good..i maintained my hair like this and i got good results..you can also try the project.
thanks
ramya
useful tips, thanks for the same

hi shashi,souji and others,
thank you very much for all ur replies and suggestions..shashi,when i used henna,i got dandruff and dryness..and i heard so many ppl complaining abt that..so,i said,it may not be so good for hair..to have a soft hair, again, all known treatment..heat coconut oil and addsome curry leaves..massage..leave it for an hour and take bath..maintain properly..do not leave hair with tangles and u can massage the scalp..souji,it is natural for everybody to get hairfall here..just go for fenugreek treatment or the prevously told treatment for hair and do not use or change shampoos and u can use rarely..
thanks
