Krithika....

Forgot to update here...

the shampoo is good so far !!1 I liked it and the smell too

Its always best to change the shampoo after 6-8 months they say... so that your follicles doesnt get used to the chemicals in the shampoo !!!

Hi Nandhu,

Glad you liked this shampoo !

Usually I apply a mix of coconut oil ,castor oil ,olive oil, almond oil and some dabur vatika amla hair oil..( after midly heating it on stove top) and leave it on for an hour or so before hair washing.

After reading rya's thread for good hair growth ( I think it was project to grow long hair...) I have started using a mix of Uttam shikakai & meera shikakai powders for initial wash. Managed to find these shikakai powders in the indian stores.

Then for the second wash, i use a little bit of dabur vatika shampoo..and the hair is more soft and less frizzy now. Ofcourse, i have reduced the use of hair dryer too..!

Cheers
Krithika

I was using baby shampoo as my hair was turning grey and started seeing white hair here and there...due to water change might be as I was travelling back and forth to different cities..let me try this dabur vatika incase if it helps me get back the thickness of my hair..i had previously..i see that the reviews here were good :)

Krithika .. awesome I do that too.. but never added dabur vatika oil thou.. but I do this too.. may be you shud try too..

After the oil is in your hair.. have a medium size towel.. soak in hot water... squeeze it and put it in your head and tie it like a kondai .. leave it for an hr...
you will be amazed with the results.. no hair loss at all..

Nandhu,

I have been doing this method of tying the wet towel ( after soaking in hot water)...after seeing that in Sunitha's thread (lahy15) for Falling hair...

the link is Falling Hair !!!

It really seems to work...and hair fall is considerably reduced.

Cheers

I have been using the clinic plus which is light to the hairs and also avoid the strong conditioners because it spoils the scalp don't use on the scalp of ur head

my vote would always be for garnier anti dandruff shampoo.. that was the answer for my long unresolved dandruff problem.. happy with garnier shampoo n conditioner.. (i don use conditioner on my scalp since i have oily hair.. learnt this tip from IL oly.. very useful )
