Post To prevent or reduce graying of hair...

Hi Shilpa,

I would recommend using only natural products like henna, amla, fenugreek seeds, etc. for any treatment of hair, be it hair loss or graying or dandruff problem. These artificial products do only more damage and no cure

Ok, coming to your hair graying problem...did you check out the message massage with fresh amla posted by Jyoti?

In addition to that, try this too.

Make a paste of henna and amla in the ratio of 50:50 and then apply to your hair those are gray. Leave it to dry for 30 to 45 mins. Then washoff your hair as regular with shampoo or shika. Doing this regularly will slowly change graying from brown to black and reduce further graying too.

Hope this helps!

Hi Shilpa,

Hair dye causes skin infections and eye irritations for people who are allergic. You can always sample and then use them.

But as recommended by Nila, it is better to try natural products. If you cannot apply henna directly and take head bath frequently due to sinus,
try this may be...

Buy henna leaves and dry them. Then powder it and add to coconut oil. Apply it daily on the portions that are gray. This helps the hair to change color(nice shiny brown).

Post Use tulsi leaves

To cover the greying and to reduce it further, take handful of tulsi leaves. Add water to it and heat it. Let it simmer for half an hour. Leave it overnight. Apply to your hair next morning. Leave on till it dries. Then rinse your hair.

Repeat weekly. Once your hair darkens well, you can do it less often.

This not only prevents greying, it will also prevent dandruff or lice from hair.

Hi malar,

I just wanted to know , whether this technique stops further greying , mean to say wether it workes like a dye or it is a permanent solution for grey hair, where after using tulsi , grey hair donot reappear.

Please answer my query
