you ask your husband what is the necessasity to do the head shave.
Normally Ladies will not do this. You consult your inlaws and your parents also about the same.

 

It is very strange request . You can ask him only, why he is asking you to do that. Sometimes, some ladies shave head as prayer for some god. But they themselfs only make prayers like that. Other person will not .

I am surprised to read your post . Why is your husband asking you to shave your head ? Swarnalatha is right it is sometimes done by ladies to offer prayers and supplication to hindu gods like Thirupathi Balaji . Is it the reason ?I agree with Sreemanavaneeth that you should consult your parents before taking the decision whatever may be the reason .

Google 'tirumala tonsure' to see some images of how it is getting it done, with half blade in the razor and all that.

Visit some cottages like NGGH, SVGH where you can see a dedicated room for tonsure. They will do a clean work, and is better than going for the free tonsure zone.

What is your decision on this issue?

If you are going to do this for your husbands wish-will you be happy with it?

Think? How would you like to handle yourself after your headshave?

If you are not able to stomach it,it will have serious psychological repurcussions on you and may also tell on your relations with your husband.

Is it his fancy or fetish?

Dont rush in if it is not a vow or prayer -after all your hair will not grow back in a weeks time .

If it is a prayer go to the temple.otherwise any local barber will do it in a jiffy.

Difficult to stomach you dont know much abt this -understanding you are from India...that to Andhra.

You can go for headshave if you want. As you have asked the process of it, it goes like this:

1. The female baraber wets ur head with water nd massage 2-3 mins.

2. Then they will make ur hair two knots one on each side.

3. They chnage the balde nd shave back first followed by front nd sides.

The whole process completes in 5 mins..

Many men do lik women headshave because it is their fantasy or hair fetish. Its becoming very common nw a days.

If you are from Andhra or Tamil Nadu, there is no problem for gettin it done in temples like Tirupathi(AP) or Palani(TN).
