All types of heat damage hair. But straightening is particularly damaging a it needs to be really hot to be effective. Also it is worse if you use on slightly damp hair or if you run it more than once on your hair. Using a heat protectant cream/spray helps. But u will definitely end up with lots of breakages & dry frizzy hair over time.

2. one has to apply conditioner regularly to make it soft
3. better do it once in 8 months
4.Remember, After one year the hair will be back to normal ( wavy & curly)
5. Experience hair fall.
