Default H4 visa extension

hi

As my H4 visa is expiring on this august..and my husband H1 got approved but he forgot to file for my H4 extension..so we are in a dilemma now what to do?...if anybody gone through this pls share ur experiences ..

Now we are planning either to file I 539 for my extension or we both have to go to mexico to get our visa stamp...

I think your husbands employer can file for the H4 extension. there wont be any problem and after its approved you both can go for stamping. I have seen such a case with my friend. H4 approval comes very quickly so no worries.
