6 Point Verification in New Jersey For H4 Visa Holder

Hello,
Me and my wife have recently moved to USA.
We have following documents for my wife

1. Passport with valid H4 stamping and I-94
2. ATM Card with her name and photograph on it.
3. Bank Statement for last two months.
4. Social Security Denial Letter.
5. Driving License from New Delhi, INDIA.

My employer provides insurance but since i'm the primary insurance holder, her name does not appear on the card.
Please advise if above will be sufficient for 6 point verification in NJ. If not what will be the easiest and cost-effective way of getting the remaining points.

hi gauravkalra!
1.indian passport with valid visa ,do carry ur passport with valid visa too they will ask for h1 passport
2.ssn denial letter
3.health card thats ur insurance card
4.any debit card /atm check card
5.latest residence proof like bank statement with a date on it ,or utility bill
i think these will suffice for a DL.

i think u can't use debit card and bank statement so better if its phone bill.. if u have vonage they will add ur wifename check this attached document fromm dmv site.. and make sure that the denial letter is not more than 30 days old ... i don't remember exactly wether its 30 or 60 days...

i visited 4 to5 times to get the license coz of this points system ...

are the cards and statement are from india...?

Hello Anoo,
Thanks a lot for your quick response.
The ATM Card and Bank statement are from US itself.

Actually we have
a. 4 points for her passport.
b. 1 point for bank statement / atm card (either one)

I'm not sure where do we get the last 1 point from??

As the health insurance card has only my name on it. and it says Family

For address proof, I've lease document with her name on it. I've got the SSN Denial letter last week itself.

call the dmv guys .. they will help u better or else go in person once on saturday so that u can get correct guidance..

You can use the lease agreement for address proof if her name is on it. Also make sure she carrys your valid visa, I-94, passport etc too, they might ask for it.

If you have your marriage certificate in original, it serves as a secondary id and gains 3 points. In short you may submit

1. primary id : Passport + Visa + I94 (4 pts)
2. secondary id : Marriage certificate (3 pts)
3. SSN denial letter
4. Addr proof - Lease agreement

I see that on DMV site they say that for non-citizen US residents, marriage certificate is accepted. But when i went to the DMV they said that it is applicable only if it if from US.

I'm sorry to hear that. but it worked for me, just 2 months back @ edison dmv. My MC is issued from India, where the marriage is solemnized. I didn't have any other secondary ids other than my marriage cert.
