| Hi All I am new to this forum. Read through the posts and found it very interesting. First let me given bit of intro. I am a guy (hopefully guys can post in this forum:) currently living in princeton area. I have been in US for around 8 years. Got married about 3 years back. Wife came as a H4 visa holder and you all have the first hand experince of how frustrated she might ahve been. I was trying to help her find something to keep her occupied and searched the internet like crazy. Did'nt find anything useful. We were so frustrated we though of going back to India. However after brief stints as babysitter, volunteer and going to millions of career fairs and tradeshows, my wife finally got her EAD when I was able to apply for my i485 last year. This whole ordeal got me thinking that we should do something about it. Me and another friend from my MBA class came up with an idea of starting a company that would cater to H4 visa holders. Specifcally this company would be a one stop shop for all your H4 issues such as 1. Educational advice 2. Career counselling 3. Cooking, Shopping, Lifestyle consultant 4. Volunteer matching and so on Also the company would orgainze events such as Diwali, Holi, Durga Puja, career fair, picnics etc using everybody as volunteer providing great management experince to H4 holders. The company is still in paper and we are trying to get some feedback We would really appreciate if you all could provide any feedback as to is the idea a total dud, do you prefer some other service ..etc. Thanks much |

| Hi Saahithya and Pallavi_an Thanks so much for your feedback, We really appreciate it. I will keep on updating everybody on our progress. We are currently working on the business plan and would be put it infront of venture capitalists in December. If things work out we would have something by early next year. | Hi Everybody Need a huge help from you all. If everybody could fill out this survey, it would be a great help for us. It is just 10 questions, really basic ones such as "age group", "how long in the us" etc. Each response is valuable and it will make our case stronger infront of venture capitalists. To access the survey just click on the link below. H4U Thanks so much |
