That's a good effort on your part, but how does one go about this like how do they pay and do they pay in India? Can anyone explain? Anyone who has joined these sites?

deepshika to answer your question...you can look at the itrecruiter jobs where you can work from home and its like you have to search resumes in databases of dice or careerbuilder and if you place any consultant for the company you are working wiht...they would give you some 2 or 3$ per hour till the consultant is in contract...say if a consultant works ona project 40 hours a week so you would be given 40*2 = 80 $ per week...you have to talk to that person who gave the advertisement on this site as to how the payment part works..most of them pay here only in US....not in India....but ensure that your efforts are paid..there are people who say they will pay but they may not..so first check if you are comfortable with the terms and conditions etc..and then move on..

Thanks again for posting this info...I have seen several posts on what women can do or will do..but never really the links to teh job postings etc..as most of the H4 women are new to US and if we jsut give a small amount of support all of us will be winners...thanks again for sharing the info...keep posting!!

It is really nice to see people willing to help H4 women , but what I do not understand is that how can an H4 work? Are these opportunities ones' which get us a work visa?

baby sitting, work from home , catering from home, etc...are similar to volunteer work..however the parties for whom the work is done they give money or pay us not as a salary but only when we do teh service...this is neither a full time / part time employment..you can walk out of it anytime..and you can start doing it anytime....until and unless the amount is not exceeding a certain min. amount it doesnt create any problems or hassells.

I have seen someof the jobs where the day care centres or preschool centres are asking the moms to help them in teaching some of the topics..some migh tbe voluntary jobs and in some they might offer a free day care for their kids...i.e indirectly earning money...this is what I know....however as i said previously lot of my friends have been into several work from home opportunities..some of them created their own opportunities by starting day care and gave employment to few other ladies....also some of them started catering....they almost earn good money...i dont want to give more details about it here though...and finally reg. IT Recruiters also..the company shows the amount they pay to the recruiters who work from home as over head expenses or so....

finally one word..before we start anything we personally have to weigh the pros and cons and take steps to work..no one can really analyse and tell you what is good or bad....if something is bad and risky no one would post it openly..by the way none of the above jobs or opportunities guarantee any kind of employment or sponsoring a H1 Visa...for that as i said previously you have to talk to teh company or the employer and understand the inner details.......good luck.
