Campaign to change the law for H4 holders, please participate and spread!!

Hi, friends i am posting here a website which is taking action to change the law which prevents H4 holders to work. You can join and participate in it. You can send a letter to the politicians who represent your state, it is easy the format of the letter is given and all you need to do is to participate. Please assist in this effort and we can hope for a change. here is an extract from the site which explains the purpose.

"Currently dependents of certain visa holders are allowed to obtain work authorization in US, whereas this basic right is denied to another class of legal dependents ( H4 Visa holders who are the dependents of H1 temporary work visa holders). This disrupts their career, makes them financially dependent on their spouse,reduce the quality of life drastically which leads to depression, stress and low self esteem.
A change is required in the law to allow these Dependents to acquire Employment Authorization Letter(EAD) to work temporarily in US, like other dependent visa holders like L2,E3,J2 etc.

• This campaign is targeting members of the US Senate and members of the US House of Representatives.
• The campaign ends on Dec 31, 2008"
