Your help needed; the kind hearted Tamil IL'ites...

Dear Tamil IL'ites,

A lady namely, Mrs. Anuratha sufferd from cancer. She wrote the problems one has to face being a cancer patient, in Tamil, in her blog. It is,O My, padikave uyir valikkiradhu. She keeps on writing to bring an awareness to the women community as a whole. In today's blog entry she wrote a letter to the CM, Mr. Karunanidhi, suggesting some great measures to serve her purpose.

Please take your time to gothrough her blog and the above thread.

She has a noble cause. If it is translated, the whole world gets to read her experiences which will bring the awareness to a great extent. If at least 50 of us come forward we can translate one post each and it will be done in hours.

I don't know what to write, my dears, more than this...

Dear All,

Just some plans for all of us who are going to do this job based on some of the things happened already;

1. As a first step we can read her blogs leisurely. She has given her ids and even contact number in there. Whoever wishes can contact her the way they would like to.

2. I mailed her yesterday asking the permission for translation and giving the link to the previous thread started by Nalini. She said, 'Yes'. She likes to gothrough it with her husband's help before publishing. So, we can mail her the particular part which each of us are going to translate.

3. She likes to join the IL community. I sent her a mail today giving her the info about my communication with Malathy(Induslady) and the link of this thread. If she joins, we can communicate better with her. She can take part in the plan and give her views.

4. My PM to Malathy contains the elaboration of what you saw in Nalini's thread; my open request to Malathy and her reply to that.

Once we all have finished reading the blogs, we can decide who is translating which part and stuff like that.

Let us share all of our ideas as to
-do we need to wait to start translating,
-how many more IL'ites do we need and
-the other things we want to discuss.
