Management institutes in Ahmedabad /Gujarat

Hi Friends,

Looking out for information on good management institutes in Ahmedabad and Gujarat in large. I know, now there has been a mushrooming of management institutes (some unscrupulous too). Please guide to know information some good institutes.

You are absolutely right Bhavna. IIM Ahmedabad is undoubtedly the best B-School perhaps not only in Gujarat but in India. It has international recognition and repute; and it is not so easy to seek admission into IIMA. You really need to be a 'gem' of a student.

Ever since its inception, IIMA has focused on developing business leaders. Today, IIMA Alumni occupy key positions in top organizations both in India and abroad and have acted as the ambassadors of change wherever they have worked. Several Alumni also serve as faculty at leading international business schools.

You have made the right assessment Simran. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) established in collaboration with the Government of Gujarat and Indian industry, is recognized as one of the best business schools in the Asia-Pacific region for post-graduate management education.

The 56-hectare campus includes an academic complex of classrooms and seminar rooms, an auditorium, a well-equipped library, a computer centre, faculty and administrative offices, 18 student dormitories, the Kasturbhai Lalbhai Management Development Centre for executive education, faculty and staff residences, and a sports complex.

You are very right ladies. IIM-A is truly the pride of Ahmedabad. There are also several other institutions of repute here. One of them is the B.K. School of Business Management.

Since its establishment in July 1976, B.K. School of Business Management has emerged as one of the eminent business schools in the country. The school’s inception was an outcome of the recommendation of an expert committee and was aimed at providing high quality managerial talent for the growing Indian industry. Along with IIM-Ahmedabad, the school has been the leading provider of quality managers in the state of Gujarat.
