Family Dramas on TV Can't Do Without Gujarati Characters?

Hi, I've been wondering why is that so many TV serials nowadays are based on Gujarati characters and especially the Gujarati Joint Family? Would somebody know?

Hi Flying Solo,

It is because the Gujarati community loves life and loves to live life to the fullest. We love to dress up and and we our quite colourful in our feelings and love a bit of spice and drama in our lives. Which does not mean we are loud and nasty. We also love good food!

Once upon a time, they used to dig on Madrasis (South Indian on Whole), then it was always Punjus, now the trend is Gujjus!

Well, the most talented stage actors are from Maharashtra and Gujarat who not only rock the T.V Serials also their live performance.
