    Hey,

We have tasted in many Indian restaurants in London. Though most of them specialize in good North Indian food, I am just longing for South Indian menu.

Anybody here living in London who knows restaurants serving typical South Indian food?

Amudha, we go to a restaurant called "Chennai Dosa" in Eastham London.

Typical S.Inidian food served there are delicious. Their speciality is dosa and I like the mini idly too. I don't get to do S.Indian food in the exact taste, hence I never miss this restaurant whenever we visit Eastham.

Hey, I am suprised that you have not been there [IMG]

There is Saravana Bhavan in Wembly. There is one south Indian restaurant opposite to Hounslow station where you can eat buffet lunch for just 4 pounds with rice, sambhar, rasam, vegetables, appalam, sweet etc. There is one Hyderabad restaurant in Southall where you can have all Andhra specialities like pesarattu etc.

    Hey,

Yup there are a couple south indian restuarants I know of in London. There is: 1. Sakonis in Wembley(not a fancy place but good food)
    2. Chennai Dosa in East Ham - Great
    3. Ragam in London, not too far from Goodge street station
    4. Sadya in SW London
    5. Woodlands in Wembley

Hmm that's all I know around the London area. I've tried a couple and they are quite good, let me know how it goes!

    Vishana xx
