Hi,
I have bought the electric glue machine long time ago and glue stones in pattu and plain sarees. Its very easy , just lay the stone on the material and heat the pen like machine and it will stick to the material . you can create your own design. Now a days they have the all kinds of design . you can iron on the material. its easy.

Thanks for the info Gulzar. Is this kind of glue gun/pen available in India? If its available in Singapore, where and what brand and how much is the cost? Please let me know so that I can ask my relatives there to get one for me.

the saree came out well after that work though it is not much visible in photo.. attached the image.. it looks like actual stone in night

Brinda, the saree colour is nice and the work looks elegant... how much did they charge for this?You have mentined that its looks like actual stone, does it mean its not????Please clarify...

They charged 1200 each cost is 1re good quality stone.. The charge was high becasue the saree was fully worked with stone and blouse back design they made a beautiful haram like design.. Only in the blouse they put 350+ stones...

there are stones which costs less than 50 paise also since i told them i am ok with 1re they put... Also if we go less price stone it wont cost much...

thanks for the info Brinda... is that your Diwali saree? I got a crepe silk with intricate kashmiri work designer saree...not sure if I can manage wearing that saree for more than 10 mins with my big tummy on Diwali day.. :)

No this saree my mom gave it for the function (thaali pirichi kokthapa)...

My diwali saree is with my mom as this is Thalai Diwali she took it with her...

It will look gud only if u tie saree at this time i can understand will be over weight for you but still take pictures later u can enjoy on seeing those sweet memories
