ive seen this style in heaps of movies..its very different i always wander how they wear it...hmmm

i think i can tall u how they wear this saree. this is called kaccha /kasta/gochi sari. It needs a nine yard saree. no petticoat inside. its worn initially just like a 6 yard saree without the back pleats. the top folds of the saree are knotted on ur waist initially as u start wearing it. Then u wear it like the 6 yard sari. Next u pull the lower edge of the backfold of ur saree to the front between ur legs on to the front upper fold making a sort of inner underwear. Next the central front pleats r taken pulled to the back between the legs , pleated vertically each pleat showing only the sari border each pleat to the width of the sari border. these neatly folded pleats r then tucked behind into the middle of the waist.the fols of the sari r adjusted and lo! u r now decked up in the most beatiful sari drape in the world
