Hi Shakila Banu:

Nice topic. My handbags are mostly made of imitation leather (rexine) - I am consciously trying to reduce the leather I use.

Just the other day, I was telling my husband to buy his sister a handbag, since I am of the opinion that ladies can never have enough handbags! In turn I got a new for myself!

I like particularly the brand Rosette (I think it is a US brand). I think they are very practical. I have one Hush puppies (beige) bag again very handy and most used is a compact sling bag (black) which holds mobile, change & currency, cheque book and lots of compartments for my bills / coupons, etc. It is small enough to get into a purse! The last one is a beautiful brown handbag.

In India, I like Hidesign purses / bags and the cloth handbags you get in all sort of lovely shapes and colours.

Hi BC:

I use those handbags from showroom to keep my jewellery and extra cards. You could use it for small documents like passports and such.

Hi All,
Really a very nice topic to share details about our handbags......
I have really plenty of them and still I continues to buy them more and more......
I would like to clarify the doubt of many ladies for not using leather handbags for animal rights protection, but its not always true abt ordinary leather cases.....they are usually made of cattle skin.....so, there is no big deal abt using them......
I love the XOXO bags, these are really funky and can be get in any sizes (that is most important for me as I love to carry many things, so a big bag is best suited for me).
Then, I have Nine West bags, these are really beautiful....and can be get in any colour.
Also, the Prada and Gucci bags......
One thing I love most is that, I love bags in every colour, so taking matching bags is in fashion, though a lot of pain in the morning to transfer things from one bag to another.
Indian beaded bags are very good to carry with ethnic dresses (especially for parties) while the Applique bags looks too stylish while outing with casual jeans/tees....
Presently, I don't remember all bag brands, will check them.
Regards.
