| I have seen a lot of high end boutiques and designer outfits in India which are creating modern apparel and dress design embellished with either Indian or western embroidery. These are only within the reach of a limited circle. I feel lot of women like us can learn and do our own, if we try a bit extra. As, I am doing my Diploma in Embroidery & Fashion design, I thought we would create a healthy discussion around the various possibilities. You can see some of the sample work (Done by my fellow my school students towards Fashion design) Picasa Web Albums - MRIDULA NAGARAJAN - Mridula's Sch... There is a lot of possibility of applying embroidery to modern dress design as well as to traditional clothes. Poornima Last edited by rpoornima; 27th September 2007 at 09:12 PM. Reason: text wrong |
