Need ideas to dress up as Prince for fancy dress

Hello ladies,

As the children's day is fast approaching, i am in a fix. In my son's playschool, they have organized a fancy dress competition that requires all the boys to be dressed up as the prince and the girls as princess. They have mentioned a special note that no costume should be hired. Me being not that creative, am confused how to create a prince constume without any fuss. Can anyone plsssssssssss suggest any ideas as to how to design a prince costume. I searched on the internet and the results were not very appealing. So, thought of seeking help from the IL master brains. Any ideas and suggestions are welcome..

Ramya, trust all is well at your end!! It is fun time isn't it? I have heard so much about these fancy competetions, I am sure he is also excited. Off the top of my head, this is what I think - a very rich Kurta/pajama with those pointy shoes and may be you can create a simple crown made of card board with feathers or stones should make him a handsome Prince.

I hope you get more ideas from other ILs as well. Good luck with the competetion and let us know how it went.
