Smile Whose prepares tea at home?

It has been years since we've stopped having tea during weekdays due to the lack of time :(
But in most of the senior citizen's case, i've seen that husbands have taken up the tea prepartion task...
I used to keep wondering why they do this thing alone so religiously ad regularly...
The only two people i could catch was my dad and FIL ...
My dad says - I want to start my morning nicely and I want it to be a good tea and not some dication ... - but i should say that my dad is the best tea master I've seen on earth...
My FIL says - I'll go mad if i have to wait for ur mil to prepare and give it to me ...

Was just wondering if its only happening in our house - how about urs?

Any one who gets up first prepares tea.

Simple...no second thought about that

Hmm. My hubby never prepares tea/coffee bcoz he doesn't drink
I too wish I had someone to prepare tea for me everyday

For me even without meals, it won't make much of a difference. But if I miss to drink tea in the morning, the whole day won't move at all

Hi,

interesting topic! Morning coffee normally I make, since I get earlier than my DH.I had made a rule some time back that (at least) the afternoon tea should be prepared by him.. as otherwise cooking is alien to him...and I see that he will dodge in ever so many ways to avoid doing it, that finally I will take it up! .miasen,
HTML Code:
I'll go mad if i have to wait for ur mil to prepare and give it to me.
is true. It is a pleasure to just sit back and wait for someone else to bring your cup of coffee or tea..isn't it?

I am really happy to see my son making the afternoon tea for my DIL.

Thanks all for ur replies :)
True soumya - once u get used to tea/coffee - cant manage without having one....
Kaluputti - ur DIL must be really lucky - generally its very rare to find MILs who appreciate it when they c their son helping DIL...

My father is the one who has prepared the morning coffee for as long as I remember. He is a early riser and leaves for his walk at 5.30am everyday, so prefers to prepare the coffee before leaving for his walk and in his own words "he prepares the best coffee in the house".

In my in-laws place, my MIL is the one who prepares coffee since my FIL has not yet learnt how to boil water.

Son takes after father, so my husband pleads ignorance to the basics of preparing coffee or tea till now

In our house inthe morning mum makes hte tea, then the cook makes sugarless tea fordad as he comes late from his morning walk and swim, at 4pm the cook makes tea for both mum and dad and in the evening mum makes the tea.
Over the weekends in the evenings i make the tea.
