No,I don't usually, but I am always hungry even while cooking,so I keep a glass of juice or tea handy and keep sipping it or I eat some crackers or nuts. But if it is something very tasty which I don't cook regularly ,like some sweet dish then I desperately wait till it is done, then take a bowl and spoon and have it immediately afterwards.I don't wait for anyone.

Hi Nabanita,

Whenever I open the fridge when the cooking is going on, I cannot resist a grapes of two, if there is a stock of it in the fridge..hehe....so I always make sure that the grapes are washed well when kept in the fridge

Of course, I "taste" a lot as the cooking gets over .

Nabanithapain,
As we offer to God and eat, usually I don't eat that food....

I do taste the food while cooking..just to know how it has come..!!
but if there is any festival, it is like we should not even taste before keeping naivedyam to GOD..
so that time i wont taste..!! And normally...some times food items when not tasted..would be very excellent that day...!!! trust me..!!
could be its GOD's magic..!!

My dear friend,
Eating while cooking are my main meal times my dear.Thats the reason I eat very little when we sit for lunch and dinner.I like to eat peanut mixed with jaggery, pottukadalai, some fruit or other I avoid keeping sweets at home mainly for this reason.
love
