Please suggest the cheapest and reliable way to send gift to India

    Hello everyone,

    i live in US i have to send some gifts to my sister who lives in India (Delhi). Can anyone plz tell me what is the best(cheapest and reliable) way to do so. The gift contains some clothes and a shoe weighing 2.3 lb.

    The cheapest and most reliable way is to send through someone who is traveling to India and don't mind carrying it. (If it is not urgent).
    I usually send my stuff through USPS.

    @vanithasudhir thank u so much for replying. Can u plz tell how much do they(USPS) charge? You r right sending with someone is a gud idea, but there is no one (I knew) going to India anytime soon. So that's not an option for me.

    It is according to the weight and mail service. Since it is only 2.5lbs should be close to 25$. You can check in their website to calculate. Www.usps.com
