Many of us take New Year Resolutions : From 1st January onwards I will do this activity and achieve consistency in it etc., But, to my knowledge, many of us (my real life friends) fail to maintain or achieve consistency in an activity they started on New Year. With me also , the same is the case. A few days / weeks, it goes on, then , the same old laziness takes over. I wonder why it is so ! How about you all ? Do you get on to the fresh commitment you assume on New Year, for a long time ? Or, it just fades away after the first or second week of January ?
Let me get this started. In my case, the answer is No. One of my resolutions for the last New Year was to quit IL. I was in here till midnight on last 31st Dec and then managed to stay away till March if I remember well. Since then I am back here. I think it didn't stick because my resolution was wrong in the first place :hide:
A New Year Resolution to keep yourself away from Indusladies website ?! Why ? Is it so harmful ?thinkingsmiley You were determined to keep yourself away and you did so for a period of three months. Then, you could not. Came back to it finally !! is it so addictive ?:idontgetit:
Vidhya, Not always though. But simple goals and public accountability help achieve our goals. At the end of the day, don't sweat on it or feel guilty about it. Life is too short for that
