Does anyone listens to Music while cooking / bathing ?

hi all,

i too listen to music before my kid came i used to switch on the vishnu sahasranamam as soon as i enter the kitchen in the morning. b'cos of this habit am able to recite the sloga along with the CD without having the book.

the type of music depends on my mood if any thing dragging i go for melodious music this will reduce my tension and reduce my workload.for this purpose i have the ipod with the speakers on top of the fridge.

do count me in.even i love to listen to music during cooking.

the type depends on my mood at tht moment.but usually whn my toddler is around wants either cartoons or rhymes on tv,n as our living room is close i shld hav to wait untill she is satisfied.but otherwise its alll my fav cd's in the house,

most of the time in mornings its devotional songs n in the evening anything will do.

s. me too. it makes u feel good & u wont feel like doing some work. u'll enjoy the work even though if u dont like to do that work if u listen to ur favourite music.

I do hear a lot of music....when I am alone. I don't feel alone, when music is around me.

I have my headphone plugged to my ears when I am doing any household work and my mobile is always going for repairs due to the MOISTURE! Ha Ha...

When I was in college, I would play my music full, later learnt that it is bad manners to play such loud music disturbing everyone around.

Now, I am happy with my music plugged to my ears and having more than 12 channels and many songs loaded on my mobile, my day is made!

hey i love to listen to music n some times move my hip according to the music... hehehee...while cooking..!!
When a alone@home n got to cook i turn on the music On...!!
I feel much energized while listening n working alltogether..!!

Sorry for seeing this thread very late, i dont know ow i missed this

I love love love to her songs while cooking, morning hours , i used to hear Devotional songs / slokams and sing parallel to that, and after finishing my cooking and will switch on by fav tamil cine songs for the whole day, even while chating

If i have big job like cleaning entire house or cooking for more number than usual, only these songs will give me energy

and, i never failed to take my ipod, when i go for walking in the evening, if i hear my fav songs, i willwalk more than 5kms without getting tired

Even when iam very low at spirits , these songs will cheer me up and change my mood

The first thing in the morning I do is to switch on my World Space Radio which is kept in the kitchen. I dont feel tired or boring while cooking or doing chores if i am listening to music. In fact it revitalizes. I feel refreshed always.
