    Hi,

    I am planning to buy wii console here in US. Can I use the same in India. Except for voltage difference what other things I should look for. Has anybody taken to India & it works perfectly. Please help.

    We bought a Wii for my BIL in India and Year back..
    Apart from voltage diffe the only thing you have to look out is for TV capability . Most TVs (post 2005 ones i guess)do good with PAL/NTSC .
    We had no trouble in setting it up and spreading the craze within 3 hours!

    Technical Advice to get more out of your gift: After buying the wii, get it modified (modded) and buy a $50 worth of 600GB to 1TB portable external hard drive, get all the wii games downloaded and give them together. They dont need to spend a lot of money on buying games after you've presented them. For any details, you can google for wii modding etc. (Hint: Buy the moded wii's on Craigslist for cheap deal)
