Smile take action;against absence of expiry dates on indian products

hi
i read blogs about products without expiry/manufacturing dates.i think this problem is faced by most of indian store shoppers. i've shopped in dallas, topeka ,kansas city and chicago.

story was same at every place. some products are with dates that is good. lately i noticed higher percentage of grocery has these dates and this encourages shopping in indian stores.
some staple items like atta, gram flour, tea, lentils, poha are mandatary to purchase wether these have dates or not. however i never purchased snacks, sweets, ready mixes etc from indian stores. i always search for alternatives in other american stores. i love my country, indian people but can not keep my health on stake.

i talked one indian store owner about the problem. she told that vendors supply items in such way and shopkeepers don't have any association to raise the voice.

THE SOLUTION:- WE CONSUMERS should seek alternatives and stop purchasing items without expiration date.
i would like to remind you guys that US government doesn't allow any items on display without expiration date or items that have passed their expiration date.
i request indian store owners throughout US to raise the voice because this is main reason for less sales. if things are improved i m sure indian stores will attract more and more customers including americans.

i would love to share ideas with u friends....
thanks
