Daylight Saving Time in the US begins on the second Sunday of March and ends on the first Sunday of November. In 2009, it therefore began on Sunday, March 8 at 2 a.m. and ends on Sunday, November 1 at 2 a.m.

Though the sun dial is always on DST ;-), I am happy that humans thought about this concept, so we can use an hour effectively :)

    It is really amazing...Nandhu.
I think our ancestors too did the same, before the invention of clocks.
Seeing the shadow and get the time..
But I also use to wonder, how come they can do it on rainy days...there must be some other method to calculate too..isn't it!
