Default How to make Nann at home

Is there is a way to make naan at home? I tried the cooker method and it is coming good but we have a gas burner and it is not good for health to cook directly on gas. I do have conventional oven but the naan is comin out very hard and is not proper.

Hi reetha,

It is possible to make naan in the conventional oven. You have to use Pizza Stone in it.

Check out this website
Naan Bread | Manjula's Kitchen | Indian Vegetarian Recipes

It will show you how to make Naan in the conventional Oven

HI Reetha ,
I use the pizza stone and the method provided by Manjulas kitchen and they really come out good and tasty. Try it. You can get pizza stones in Bed bath & beyond, Walmart any many other stores , I even saw some in Big lots.
Enjoy

I saw once someone using quarry tiles from like Home Depot/Lowe's which are square. You can buy 4 or 6 depending on size and cover the whole shelf in the oven and make a lot of naan at a time.
