Shipping Gold through Courier

    Hi all,

    I got a gold ornanament (bracelet for new born) through one of my frnd from India.We both are in different states in US.

    Is it safe to courier it thro' Fedex or any other service??
    Did anyone shipped gold in US?If so, how safe is it?

    I am very much concerned...Please suggest.

    If you send it by Insured and certified mail then there will be no problem .I got my pair of gold earings by Insured and certified priority mail (USPS) from my cousin in Newyork

    It can be shipped in USPS also. The only thing the sender needs to do is insure it and send it.You can be assured it will reach.Good Luck.

    As others suggested it is perfectly safe to send it thru USPS/FEDEX/UPS,if you taken the insurance

    Just wqanted to share that one of my friend had a experience within US where the gold was lost. Definitely insuring is a better idea.
