Selvi,
I am with you...when I get to see Chitvish's recipe index, I get into it for long and end up with the confusion of which one to cook. Then I will go and make my usual stuff in a jiffy

.
Kamla,
Don't tell me about mood swings. I am known for it since I delivered my kutti. I will keep thinking in the bed about what to cook, but next day morning when I get up and come I will feel like should I cook. Crazy, isn't it?
You seem to make varieties - bath, pachadi, poriyal, rasam - all for oru velai? Unbelievable that you manage to do so much inspite of going out to work. If I were you, I would have just got tired with bath and pachadi. It happens only these days - I don't know what made me this lazy, believe me, I used to make varieties for Jey during my initial days here.
Chitvish,
I too request you to go ahead with Jiffy cooking thread like others. Definitely after your short break.
I already have pressure pan, 2 litre cooker and 5 litre cooker. Yenna irundhu yenna, cook panna mood & energy vendumey. (What's the secret of your energy??? - your here refers to Chitvish, Vandhana & Kamla).
I always end-up getting stuck with my laptop in the couch, as Selvi said, until Kavya gives me a call. She is my "Bossini" now.
Atlast end-up adjusting with some left overs in the fridge

. Paavam poor Jey & now Appa too!
So today's adjustments for Lunch for me and Appa...paruppu rasam, suraikai kootu & cauliflower poriyal. Of-course, curd rice with milagai vathal - life savers you see.
Kavya kutti will have paruppu sadam with mashed potatoes.
Jey escaped my lunch pack, for he is going off-site today with his colleagues.
M.
