Dear ladies,
Today , our lunch is Chepala pulusu(Tuna Fish curry) ,rasam with rice. This curry is my favourite.
Dear Kamala,
"Pesara vadiyalu",are fritters made by soaking moongdal and grinding with ginger ,green chillies ,cumin and salt.We make small marble size fritters and sun dry them.
My mom got me pesaravadiyaalu from india this time.Curry recipe is:
Fry few pesara vadiyalu and keep aside.
saute some onions(1 large onion),chopped green chillies in 2tsp of oil until cooked and then add these fried vadiyalu, stir it well and add 1/2 cup water, salt, dhaniya powder and cover cook until done and tastes good with Rice/roti.Simple curry when u run out of veggies and home.My son likes it bcoz he is a big fan of Non-veg food, and thinks this is chicken and eat!
-Cheers
-Vaishu

Hi Kamla,
Your recipes leave me begging for more!
Could you please give me the recipe for the noodle bake you have described below?
I love noodles with baby corn.
Thanks

I am a majjiga pulusu fan ! But ...tell me...what is this mysterious sounding 'pesara vadiyalu iguru? ??? Do let me know.
Today's lunch was beetroot veggie, mixed veggie pulusu with ground masala...Karnataka style (!), rasam, yoghurt and the usual sides.
Supper was noodle bake with green peppers, corn and cauliflower.

Hi friends,
Today's food is rotis and side dish made of Masoor dal with Breadfruit, lima beans and Delicata Squash.
Also made a Halwa with Butternut Squash.
Cheers!

Had been making only regular fare all these days after holidays. Gobi manchurian and rotis for dinner today. Did not make much of lunch or breakfast today, bread and fruits for breakfast and left over rasam and rice for lunch (only poor me). So something nice for dinner.
Am grinding dough for regular idli, poha buns and 1-2-3 oothappam. Also preparing for some French onion soup, had pepared the veg. stock.

Hello all,
Happy Diwali to all of you. So really, what is for dinner today?!! Must be great being Diwali ! And even if it is very simple, nevermind, as long as you enjoy whatever it is you have cooked, it still counts as fun.
Maybe after the Diwali hangama, we should revive this thread once again!
