Whats for dinner today?

Hello all....How is everyone? Where are you ...Aishu, Pavithra, Vandhana and the rest? What have you guys been cooking??:)

I made many items for this weekend.
Veggie puffs, idlis, aapam, coconut chutney, onion chutney, tiffin sambar (thx Chtivish!), grapes pickle ( thx Chitvish!), salads, pizza, keerai dhal, rasam, green pepper poriyal, kesaribath, kalakkand etc etc. Well, this is not for one day, it is for this whole weekend as I am expecting various people to drop in as it is a holiday weekend. So I am hoping the advance preparation will see me through to some extent :)
Do let us know what's happening at your end...what plans for the long weekend....

i have been cooking just that i have been away for sometime from this thread since i had been arranging for an indian curry night!!!it was just superb just got over yday had a sumptuous meal!!!!

these were wat i made ev1 loved it and others had bought few items as well so thoroughly enjoyed!!!!
today will have some veg pulav and onion raita for lunch yet to decide on dinner!!!!

hi all

today i had made kharabhath for dinner and side dish for it was murungakkai sambar...this chitvish recipe was just excellent and deftly a gud variation frm the usual kichdi and rava upma....

also had made sitaphal basundhi......an excellent dessert and a damn easy one to make ....but believe me no compromise on taste..yummy delicious and so nice to eat...

Today lunch was rice with rajma curry, lettuce salad, papads & buttermilk. Dinner was Vendhya dosai with ginger chutney.

Hi ladies,

Iam back.I was bsy with my mom all these days.She left on 3rd september.I miss my mom now.But cannot and cannot miss our kitchen work and cooking right?I made Long Beans sabji,dhum aalu,roti,pulav and carrot raitha.

The leftovers will run for dinner too!

So what is cooking in ur kitchen ladies???

Today lunch was brinjal sambar, cabbage coconut poriyal, bhindi pachidi, plus rice/ghee. Night was venpongal with leftover sambar & carrot halwa.

For lunch ,channamasaala,roti.And for dinner baingan-sweet potato subji ,channa masala with rice and roti.

Nice to see you keep the kitchen fires burning ! It must be hard on you when your mom left for India. That is always sad.
Today's lunch was rasam, dhal with spinach, left over cabbage and dhal veggie, papads, karivepaku (curry leaves) podi, thayir.
Dinner will be parathas and baingan-potato sabzi.

Hi All,

Back after a while. Today's lunch was left over dal converted to dal dhokli. Dinner is going to be peerkangai masiyal with Sepankizhangu curry.
