L2 Visa with EAD

I am in L2 visa with EAD (Employment Authorization). I am currently working for a US Employer. Can I take part time work from an Indian company and work from US? Please advice.

Hi Vishra ,

Yes you can - Unless your current US company does not have any restriction policies. Read through your offer letter and the terms & conditions completely .

Apart from that L2-EAD does not have any legal restriction on this regard.

There should not be any problems in doing part time work with L2 EAD.

Only thing is, either you must inform your employer about it or atleast you need to ensure that they are not aware of it if your part time work falls on weekdays (business hours).

hi all,
i got my EAD in sept 10th when i was in california. and my husband finished project in march of this year we came back, and suddenly we got newyork offer now , i lost my ead. now what shuld i do? please tell me . can i produce duplicate ead . ? or i shuld apply fresh ead as previous was californias and now i am going to new york.
