Default Election day in US

After staying in foreign countries most of my adult life, not being able to cast my vote in the country of birth - now I appreciate the concept of absentee ballot a lot more, felt good to have finally been able to cast a vote and hopefully make a difference in my adopted country

Rama

we have been doing mail-in ballots and love the convenience, not having to stand in long lines. Have been following all the poilitics closely and it has been an interesting season. Just a few more hours to know the outcome.
I too have not had the opprtunity to cast the vote in country of birth.

DrPreethis, it was not you is it - the non voter....I am kidding that is a good one and I am sharing with all my friends...

Yes, I never thought I would be this tensed about the outcome of the election but on the brighter side, my hard wood floors are getting a make over tonite as I wait for the results - I work best when I am tensed.

Hey everyone, thanks for responding to this thread - it truly is a historic time and we are glad to be a part of it. I get a kick when my 2 yr old say "Obama" everytime I say, vote for....my 5yr old ofcourse is gluled to the TV with me.
