R u adding enough water? Coz I've been using the same, and if u add enough water, I dont think there should be a problem at all. I usually use the ratio 1:2, and it turns of just fine. I even make pulaos, and it comes out nice and grainy and never scorches the bottom.

Hi,

Walmart and Target most frequently feature rice cookers on sale. If not even in amazon you can find better deals.

hi monapaul!
i have also been using the oster 10 cup cooker which i bought it in bed bath and beyond.. its working fine .. but i use it if have to cook more than 3 cups... i am using panasonic if i have to cook 3 cups i bought it recently from amazon.com its wonderful.. dont try the rival small rice cooker... the nonstick goes off with in 6 months no matter how careful you are.. i wasted trying two time and got vexed and replaced with panasonic.. hope it helps for you..bye

I think there is no separate vessel for cooking rice. I generally use the stock pan and cook the rice in that and then strain it with the regular colander. One of my friend always uses the rice cooker and her comes out well too.

Default electric rice cooker - Hamilton Beach or Aroma?

Hi All,

I need to buy a 10 cup rice cooker as I want one which can be used when I have guests at home for lunch or dinner. I was looking at Aroma 10 cup rice coker and hamilton beach 10 cup rice cooker. Could any of you you tell me as to which one is a better brand? I am not sure about which one to buy. Plz suggest me with one of the above two.

Thanks in advance.
