School year 2015

The school year is just about to begin in many places in the U.S. And all the kids are rightly excited . Walmart and many other departmental stores selling school supplies are very much crowded with over enthusiastic parents who are as eager about their little ones starting school again after summer vacation . At this time , I would like to just brush up some things for the parents as well as children.
.Go to bed early, at leas by nine. This will ensure that the kids have had a good night's sleep just before starting classes and can concentrate better when the teacher is taking lessons.
.complete any home assignments immediately after returning from school and don't sit with anything just before getting into the school bus.
.start the year with a clean slate and do not carry over any fights from the previous year.
.be enthusiastic and try to participate in as many activities as possible !
.do not be afraid to speak out in class, just because your classmates might make fun of you. Going forward,that is not good.
.parents keep a note of what is happening at school on a daily basis. Check to see if your child is having any unusual mood or behavioral changes. If any such things are noted with your child for more than 3 days, have an open heart to heart chat with the kid. There might be some bullying going on which the boy or girl is afraid to speak about. It is good to catch all such activities at an early stage and take appropriate action.
.students please inform your parents of all the important events at school and don't hide anything . Consider your parents, teachers and elders as friends who are interested in helping you!!!
