wow...thanks alot for this insight into bank lockers..i was looking for the info on google and found our IL site...thanks alot..

just one more question...does anyone put any silver items like glasses, dinner plates etc in locker??? my friends say that silver is not much cared for here in US all we have to worry about is gold ....i appreciate your response..

Iladies,

BOA charges ~ $60/year for 3x5 locker (it is deep though). Otherwise you need to have advantage membership with them ($5000 minimum deposit year long)

Narmee_r you can explore if they have lockers at local banks of credit unions @ Bloomington.

narmee_r, even i stay in bloomington, IL- just yesterday we took a locker from First state bank(FSB) its on hershey opp national bank-
most of the banks are out of lockers- even in FSB the large lockers are out- there are only medium n small size ones-

Ladies,

Is it safe to have our passports / visa papers in bank lockers? For people like us here, we need to preserve our passports / visa papers more than any precious items that we have. If there are any damages to it, we will get stuck and we will have to really toil back and forth to get that problem sorted out. Am sorry if this question looks weird to you.
