Help For Travel

Hi ILites,
We have planned a trip to niagara this long week end.we have booked for the flights, but yet to book the hotel. i need suggestions frm our friends abt the good and cheap hotel to stay with my husband and two kids--6yrs and 19 months old. i also need advice on the restaurants over there and anything i shd take with me. since this is our first trip in Us since v came here, i dont know how to manage this. and also v r going alone. they say that since v r with 2 kids, v have to take double bedroom. is that so? any suggestions of places to visit there nearby.

Dear Priya,

Near niaga falls there r plenty of hotels.U get gud hotels as well as budget hotels there.Getting a hotel is not at all a problem if u book early.Otherwise the cost increases a lot.
In the room u can take a single room with 2 king or queen bed,that way all the 4 of u can stay in the same room.Pls enquire abt that.
Abt food,when i went there i was surprised at the number of indian restaurants and eateries there.U have a large variety of indian hotels and get gud indian food.But just carry some roti,MTR ready to eat food packets and food for ur toddler (sorry am not yet experienced in that field).

Book for a hotel which is near so that u can walk to the falls n need not go looking for parking ..........

U have many Indian restaurants near the falls so food will not be a problem

There is an aquarium near by ( small one ) n in the evenings they have a show for abt 30 mins .......hope ur kids will enjoy it ....

Hello Priya,

Since you are having 2 kids, it will be better if you go for 2beds (queen size) or 1 King size bed. This will be convenient for you.

Also, I am attaching the picture of the hotel we stayed in. It is Fallside Hotel and Conference center. But , i strongly suggest you need to book now, since the hotels near the falls get filled up pretty soon. This hotel is very close to the falls (walkable -15mts), by car- hardly 5 mts.

As Suji mentioned, there are lots of Indian eateries out there next to falls. For coffee, there is also a Starbucks nearby.

I will give more info about booking for the rides soon.

We booked it thru hotels.com - WE KNOW HOTELS INSIDE AND OUT.®. So you may want to try thru them also.
