Which indian mixer grinder to buy and bring it to USA

Hi All,

I will be visiting India in this December, I am planning on buying a good Indian mixer grinder that I can user here in USA.
Please let me know what you all use here in USA and which company/model mixer grinder you all suggest.

Dear Asha,

Not sure abt ur luggage details. I think you are talking about Grinder. it cost about 7000rs in India and u got to pay for one more luggage to bring it if you already have lot to carry. I would suggest you to get the grinder here in indian store. It costs 200$ . I recently bought sowbhagya wet grinder frm a near by indian store and it works fine. If you want tilting it is 50$ extra.
If you have options to carry frm india then go for Premier tilting wet grinder. It does gr8 job.

I prefer buying in US itself. There is no much price difference and you will be tension free. There are many websites who sell mixers and wet grinders, you can compare the price and buy. Also i have seen mixers in Indian grocery stores and stores exclusively selling Indian appliances and utensils. But the price is little bit high compared to the websites. I bought both mixer and grinder in one of those websites. And its running in good.

I have no issue with luggage, I will have 8 suitcases all for myself , I am looking for a mixer grinder and not wet grinder, mixer like preeti., sumeet etc...
Please recommend a good one for me.

I bought Preethi Eco plus from my last India trip n its working fine... I took out the mixer n jars from the box and brought it here there was no problem.the Preethi mixie is also working fine.

I have Preethi mixer and using it since 2010. Got them from India and no complaints on anything so far. running good. Also, i have a premier wonder grinder, that was about Rs. 5000 - 6000 back in 2011. Runs good too. some of my friends here buy in from amazon. Cost is not of much difference, except you might want to add shipping costs of 50 dollars.
