Is long grain available at wholesale stores?

dear friends,
I went to Sam's club, a wholesale store to buy certain things along with long grain rice.( 20lbs).
But to my disappointment, the rice section is completely missing..not even Basmati..
Do you experience the same in your places??
If at all what brand is good at quality and price-wise too?

I found sona masoori rice in teh Indian store. I have not checked costco lately for long grain rice.

In my local Sam's I get all kinds of Rice, long grain,jasmineetc.. all are good and prices are very cheap.

Here in LA,long grain and any other kind,not available in sams club,dont know about costco.I bought sona masoori and idly rice from indian stores.20lb bags for $22 each.

hi, we too had the same problem. we recently ( last week) found blue ribbon long grain rice in costco for $18.99.

When i went to Sams club last week i too found the rice section empty. But i called them to check the availability after 2 days and they said only 5-6 bags are available. so we went and picked it on that day itself. When i went this week i found Jasmine Rice and Long grain rice and there is no stock of Basmati Rice.

Please call your local club before you go

I think this won't be an issue for a long time. Everything will be normal soon.

I am not sure about the costco and sam's club but BJ's have them in stock. and also there is no restriction on how many bags a person abuy at a time. We found long grain rice 25 lb bag for $12.59.

Thank you friends, usha, AC( you are lucky), revathi,sabari, reservesquare and subba) for giving your suggestions and the information regarding the availabitlity of long grain in the local wholesale stores...
Here we too get it in the Indian stores, which is priced higher, and also in the retail stores like Kroger's, Walmart, etc...
But in Sam's the price of a 25 lb long grain was $8.49...
As suggested by 'reservesquare' should call before going to Sam's...nice
