Default Re: Recipes for outdoor cooking

Hi Kodavati,

I guess you are asking for ideas for items that can be made on the grill outdoors. So here are a few from me:

1. Grilled tandoori salad: here you can marinate vegetables, pineapple, paneer and if you want pieces of chicken in tandoori paste for about 12 hours minimum. arrange all on the skewer and then grill on the BBQ.

2. Gyros: a mediterranean dish that basically is grilled meat that is wrapped in a pita bread along with a tahini sauce and other dressings. you can make a veggies version of this using grilled eggplants, red and yellow peppers, onions etc....

3. Veggies burgers: here you can grill the patty outside and assemble it.

4. If you have a cast iron tava, you can even make dosas and pav bhaji on the BBQ.

5. Bhel puri can be made outside if you have all the ingredients ready.

Hope this gives you some ideas.
